BUDS

Next year, it will be our 10th year anniversary! Didn't realise it until we were reminiscing on those good old days. Time really flies. The 7 of us met almost 10 years ago when we were in JC. Joined the most gruelling CCA and we stuck through the tough times together. Adversities really bind people together and they give birth to pure, real and quality relationships. We didn't just hold on to one another in difficult times but we also shared one another's joyous moments. Isn't that true friendship? Could not have imagine JC life without them. Missing Edith who was searching for her bridal gown (see pic below). Without one's realization, we have been faithfully keeping up with our ritual of meeting up on festive seasons & birthdays for the last 9 years! It sure doesn't feel that long. It was only when someone mentioned that it will be our 10th year come 2010 then it hit me that we've been friends for that long a time! Incredible. With Edith getting marr

Toothie

Finally, its out! My 2nd wisdom tooth that has been bothering me for quite some time is taken out. Relief yet at the same time not at all looking forward to the pain when the anasthesia wears off! Didn't keep my 1st wisdom tooth so I told myself I must bring the 2nd one back! And here it is.... My dentist said this time the tooth is deeper and a little bit more tricky than the first one. So the drilling came along and my tooth was broken into 3 parts, as you can see. She asked me to piece it back together! Ha...its huge ay!? 2 gone. 2 more to go but they are the upper molars so not much of an issue. Next time for those 2. :) All I can say now is, good riddance irritating tooth!

Baby Baby

Kenny's little princess - Sarah Han Rui Xin Shi An's princess - Scarlette Amazing how these little ones can bring abundant joy whereever they are and to whoever meets them. They never have to do much to bring laughter in the house or a smile to one's face. Such is the beauty of babies. Its no wonder why people say fatherhood/motherhood really changes a person's life (for the better). And noooooooooo....I'm not going to be a mummy anytime soon!

United Colors!

Students of the track and field module. With us is the T&F legend : Mr C Kunalan! The first thing that struck me when I saw this photo was how colorful we look. An insight struck me there and then. The different colors represent each of us - unique & eye-catching in our own special ways. When the colors come together, it paints a beautiful picture. Its interesting that the colors become striking when it all blend together. On its own, no matter how bright it is, it never fails to impress me! Likewise, we can also exhibit a dynamic synergy that is explosive & colorful when we know how to come together, appreciate and accept one another's individuality. There's power in unity!

Let God be God

Steven Curtis Chapman - God Is God And the pain falls like a curtain On the things I once called certain And I have to say the words I fear the most I just don't know And the questions without answers Come and paralyze the dancer So I stand here on the stage afraid to move Afraid to fall, oh, but fall I must On this truth that my life has been formed from the dust God is God and I am not I can only see a part of the picture He's painting God is God and I am man So I'll never understand it all For only God is God And the sky begins to thunder And I'm filled with awe and wonder 'Til the only burning question that remains Is who am I Can I form a single mountain Take the stars in hand and count them Can I even take a breath without God giving it to me He is first and last before all that has been Beyond all that will pass Oh, how great are the riches of His wisdom and knowledge How unsearchable for to Him and through Him and from Him are all things So let us wor

BURST BEYOND THE SUN

When gray threads mar life's pattern, and seem so out of line, trust the Master Weaver who planned the whole design. For in life's choicest patterns some dark threads may appear, to make the rose threads fairer, the gold more bright and clear. The pattern may seem intricate and hard to understand, but trust the Master Weaver and His steady, guiding hand. - G.A.Dreher-

Wassup after 3 weeks!

Took a 3 weeks hiatus from blogging. Not that the last 3 weeeks were uneventful, its just either having no inspirations or inkling to write. Anyhow, the 'feeling' to blog returned and here I am to make my updates, despite having an assignment to clear by tmr! :) Had my 1 week break 2 weeks ago, and it sure felt like it was a month when that happened! Life in Singapore is as such. Resting/play/fun times always flash by without us realising, but working moments seem to last forever! Bleah!!! During this break, I grabbed the chance to date my grandpa. Its a long overdue date given he had to go through his radiation treatment last year. Now that he's on the road to recovery, I think there's no better time than now to just hang out with Grandpa George. This was what we did: 1) Luncheon @ People's Park Complex - Hongkong style steamed fish head. A dish he has been craving for the longest time ever. See how happy Grandpop Georgie looked??? 2) Outing to Jurong Bird Park. M
