UNION

10th JULY 2010 Wedding of my very good friend. A queen like her deserves a king and I had the privilege of witnessing and being a part of this beautiful union. Well well....I realised something while resting my sore feet after a whole day of standing on really high heels and that is: marriage is the sweet fruit reaped from the patience of waiting . Blessed union my dearest friend.

Settling In

Woke up to a breezily cool rainy morning and there goes my Tri training plan yet again. But no complains since I get to wake up later instead of the usual 5am to get ready for school. Oh yes...back to the grind of teaching after the June hols that seemed like a dream. If the hols was a dream, I sure woke up from it on my 1st official day of teaching as a full-fledge teacher. As I said before, time and tide really waits for no man in this profession. Pass through the school gates and its automatic suction into the whirlwind of school's affairs. Weekends have to be therapeutic so that our hearts can resume normalcy. Though back in a familiar place, I somehow don't feel the same. The reality has kicked in and my eyes are even more widened to what goes on behind the scenes of teaching. I'm thankful for a light workload (at this moment) because if I don't settle in on a right footing, it would just be a spiral progression downwards for the next few years and that's unthi
