In 2 weeks time, its 'Hello Pei Hwa' and 'Bye NIE' for the next 2 months. In the blink of an eye, I'm about to be sent out for my Teaching Practicum and then official teaching. Frankly speaking, I do not know what to expect. Most naturally, there will be a certain amount of anxiety and fear. After all, its the final assessment. No one wants it to be a horrible experience. At the same time, I sense excitement too!
I remember wondering how it will be like to do my TP2 when I was in my first year. At that time, I was scared by the mere thought of having the supervisor lurking around watching my every move and I wished it won't come so soon. But I'm now about to embark on this frighteningly exhilirating journey. I can finally understand how Addie & Joani felt before their TP2 experience.
As much as I will miss my NIE days and cranky classmates, I know I have to move on and get ready for the new season ahead. New things to learn, new colleagues to work/argue/fight with, new challenges/battles awaiting me to fight and above all, a new me!
In my HOD's words, "the only thing constant in life is change". So I'm bracing myself to embrace the changes to come and hopefully its change for the better!
